Biography:

Shawn Marshall joined the University of Calgary Department of Geography in 2000. Marshall's research interests include glacier dynamics, cryosphere-climate processes, paleoclimatology, and boundary layer meteorology. Current research projects include field and modelling studies in the Canadian Rockies, the Canadian Arctic, Greenland, and Iceland. Marshall is an Associate of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIfAR) Earth System Evolution Program (http://www2.cifar.ca/).
