Yilong Zhang

Zhang (Billy) completed a BSc specializing in Geographic Information System (GIS) from Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (2010), China, and started his coursework for Master of GIS (MGIS) in the Department of Geography in September 2010. He is working on the HEAT (Home Energy Assessment Technologies) project under the supervision of  Dr Geoffrey Hay. His research involves developing a novel landscape shape index to estimate the roof temperature of urban dwellings based on high-spatial resolution remote sensing thermal imagery.
